About Niggle's Leaf

Niggle's Leaf is a space to connect Christian faith with contemporary thought. Its  aim is to inspire, encourage, challenge and provoke thought about how to relate Christian faith to modern life. How can we faithfully read and understand the diverse texts of the bible for us today? Texts written in long unused languages using unfamiliar literary structures, to ancient peoples living in alien cultures and lost landscapes. The contention of this blog is that though these texts were written to long dead people they remain written for us. This blog seeks to treat the biblical texts and the ideas they convey in their cultural and linguistic context and ask what does this mean for us today?
